Teachers are often the first to notice when a child is struggling, yet many lack the proper training to recognise and respond effectively to mental health challenges in the classroom. With the rise in stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles among students, it has become more crucial than ever to equip educators with the knowledge and tools to create a safe, supportive, and mentally healthy learning environment.

That’s why we are organising a Mental Health Workshop for Teachers to address this critical issue. We will be bringing together teachers from 27 public schools in Ikeja, Lagos, for an in-depth training session focused on:

✅ Recognising early signs of mental distress in children and adolescents
✅ Creating a school culture that promotes mental well-being
✅ Practical strategies for addressing mental health challenges in the classroom
