The Mental Health Clubs in Schools are designed to provide long-term, sustainable support systems that enable students to continuously learn about mental health, build resilience, and foster emotional intelligence while having access to ongoing support. These clubs are established in schools after our sensitisation programs and are student-led, with guidance from Blaze Health Foundation volunteers and the school’s counsellor. Each club has a leadership structure made up of a Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, Secretary, and a “My Go-To Person.” Activities are based on a structured curriculum covering topics such as emotional regulation, communication skills, self-care, and stress management.
The “My Go-To Person” is a student chosen for their empathy and commitment, trained in basic mental health first aid, and serving as the first peer contact for students in need of support.
