The Mental Health Sensitisation for Students initiative is designed to raise awareness about mental health among young people, normalise conversations around emotional well-being, and equip students with simple self-help strategies they can use in their daily lives. Through interactive two-session campaigns, we engage approximately 15% of the student population in each partnered school. During these sessions, students learn about understanding mental health, recognising when to seek help, and using practical tools such as journaling and art therapy for self-expression and coping. At the end of the sensitisation, interested students are encouraged to join the school’s Mental Health Club, where they can continue learning and receive ongoing support in a safe and nurturing environment.
